TOM HARROLD is an award-winning Scottish composer whose music has received worldwide performances by a multitude of performing groups and artists, at venues which include the Berlin Philharmonie and Royal Albert Halls.
Harrold's music has been performed across the globe by orchestras which include BBC Symphony, BBC Scottish Symphony, BBC Philharmonic, Bournemouth Symphony, Scottish Chamber, Aurora, and Birmingham Festival Orchestras, BBC Singers, Manchester Camerata, Endymion Ensemble, Edinburgh Quartet, Psappha and Exaudi.
His recent projects include UNCHAINED (a mini-concerto for Colin Currie), DARK DANCE for Psappha, CONCERTO FOR SAXOPHONE AND ORCHESTRA for the BBC Philharmonic and Emma McPhilemy, and a 30-minute ballet, co-commissioned by Birmingham Royal Ballet and Queensland Ballet companies which was performed at Sadler's Wells and Birmingham Hippodrome.
RAZE (which opened the Last Night of the Proms in 2016) was selected by the BBC Symphony Orchestra to represent BBC Radio 3 at the International Rostrum of Composers.

Tom's upcoming projects include a new euphonium concerto for Gary Curtin and Foden's Band, a new work for McOpera, and a choral piece to mark the 900th anniversary of St Giles Cathedral, alongside continuing library music projects.
Tom was recently conferred as an Associate Member of the Royal Northern College of Music (ARNCM), and is a Senior Lecturer at Leeds College of Music. His music is published by Universal Edition.
